High Protein Tuna Sandwich

This tuna sandwich high in protein and great for lunches on the go. Despite what diet culture says, our body needs carbs, eat the bread and enjoy!

High Protein Tuna Sandwich

Quick, easy and high in protein is all we need.

Servings

1 sandwich

Ingredients

X2 slices sourdough bread 

X1 tin of tuna (in brine)

X2 Tbsp cottage cheese

X2 Tbsp tomatoes 

X1/4 cup cucumber 

X2 tsp spring onion

X2 tsp mayo 

X chilli flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Start with straining your tuna, then adding it to a bowl along with cottage cheese, tomatoes, cucumber, spring onion, mayo and some chilli flakes.
  2. Toast your sourdough bread, and add tuna mixture.
  3. Enjoy!

Don’t be scared of carbs, its part of the journey to healthy eating!
