High Protein Dips (Health Snack Recipes)

These high protein dips are quick, flavourful, and perfect for sharing. Made with cottage cheese as the base, they’re a great way to boost your intake of protein foods while enjoying fresh, vibrant flavours.

Whether you’re looking for healthy snacks for work, a snack table addition, or something to enjoy with crackers and veggies, these dips tick all the boxes. Both the Peppadew & Garlic Dip and the Fresh Herb Dip are snacks high in protein that come together in just minutes, proof that high protein food can be both delicious and nourishing.

250g dip per recipe

Ingredients:

Peppadew & Garlic Dip (Roast Pepper Dip)

  • 250g cottage cheese
  • 140g mild diced peppadews (piquante peppers)
  • ½ tsp garlic
  • 2 tsp extra virgin olive oil (plus more for topping)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, to garnish

Fresh Herb Dip (Garlic & Herb Dip)

  • 250g cottage cheese
  • 6 basil leaves
  • 1 tsp garlic
  • 1 tbsp dill
  • 2 tsp oregano
  • ½ small lemon, freshly squeezed
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • Extra virgin olive oil and fresh thyme, to garnish

Instructions:

  1. Add all ingredients for each dip into a food processor or blender.
  2. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  3. Transfer to a bowl, top with olive oil, and garnish with parsley or fresh thyme.
  4. Serve with veggie sticks, crackers, or crisps for a quick high protein snack.

Notes:

💡 These dips can be made ahead and stored in the fridge for up to 3 days.
💡 Try spreading them on wraps or sandwiches as a protein-rich alternative to mayo
